1990 Mazda RX-7 GTU Description

Here we have an extremely rare RX7 GTU, one of only 100 vehicles like this made in 1990. This is the lightweight version with the VIN letter "L" confirming it's GTU option status. We purchased this amazing car from a wonderful friend of ours who was the original owner. She purchased it brand new and took impeccable care of this phenomenal vehicle until health issues forced her to stop driving a few years later. She then had to put it into storage where it has rested until we were fortunate enough to obtain it. This is the reason why it has such extremely low miles... an unbelievable 7,267!This RX-7 of the highest quality is extremely rare in model and miles. The carpet on this RX-7 still has the shine and deep black color it originated with. Of course it runs and drives like brand new, it even has the original tires it came with! She has power mirrors, A/C, Power brakes but no ABS, Manual windows, and of course Beautiful Cloth seats. These RX7's are considered a coupe, but the back glass pops open like a hatchback. There is only one issue with this amazing vehicle and is easily remedied, when she was in storage the inside of the storage unit was painted. They put a cover over it, but the rear bumper was exposed at some point so there is some over spray that could be removed. We do not know a reliable detail shop so have been reluctant to have it done. We have been able to remove some of it by hand with a cloth and some buffing compound from the store to be sure it could be removed, but thought it would be best left to professionals. That being said, it does come off and left no residual marks on the paint. The picture of the taillight and rear bumper shows the paint specks that are across the rear bumper. If you are in the market for a brand new vehicle that has style and comfort with the soul of a race car, why buy a car that will loose its value the minute you drive off the lot? Buy this classic amazing work of art that is a wonderful investment to boot! Perfect for the collector of rare automobiles.Sold as-is, deposit non-refundable.If you have any questions, feel free to message me. Thank you!
