1991 Miata Convertible MX-5 (I was just given wordfrom the owner that he is donatingthis carto a charity organizationfor the tax benefit if it does not sellat the end ofthis listing!)
These cars are becoming collectors cars now being they are over 25 years of age and still have a classic sports car look.
First of all I want everyone to know that I am just the middle man and am just storing andlisting this car for a elderly friend that has moved to Nevada.
This would make a Great Weekend Cruiser or aKiller Drifter Project Car
*** Today a mechanic did a inspection and test driveof the carfor a potential buyer and found it to be in road worthy condition. The AC works but does need charging, everything else passed inspection but still could use some TLC tomake itready fora cross country trip but said it should drive all day long with no problems he could find. The Tires are in excellent condition and are only maybe 2 years old with almost new tread on them.
Currently owned by the same gentlemanfor the pastdecade to originally drivefor hisretirement vehicle while inthe Las Vegas Nevadaarea.He has since movedthere permanentlybut due to the high temperatures and his agethe doctors have suggested a convertible isnot a good ideaanymoreso hehas purchased atruck with air conditioning. This car has onlyhad minimalmiles put on it over the past 10 years and has been stored most of that time. It does drive well with no major issues noted. It does need some TLC from being stored but can be driven home. In Ohio you can now register this car as a 25+ year old classic/historical/vintage carwhich entitles you to special plates and no annual registration fees once you pay the sales tax and have the title changed over to you.Weather you are a car enthusiast or just looking for a simple good small car to drive with a little bit of that classic sports car flavor without spending a fortune ona Sunbeam, MG, Fiat or Triumph thenthis is your car. It still has its original paint in verygoodoverall conditionand has not been wrecked. The body is extremely solid for a car 25 years of age from this part of the country. The top was replaced a few years back and is in excellent shape. The windshield does have a crack but can be replaced, I priced one installed at the local Belle Tires for about $200 maybe less from others. We have reattached the missingdrivers side mirror that is missing in some of the pictures. Tires are good with after market wheels andCD/Radio, otherwise the car appears to be pretty much original and unmolested. The only notable rustis a small very fixable spot on both sides lower edge in front of the rear wheels, can be seen in the side pictures posted, body man from the local Ford dealer said it was a standard rust problem with these and is easy to fix since it is not bad at this time.

Delivery maybe arranged for additional cost by a independent individual that has delivered many Classic Cars for meover the past 20 years He has both a flat and a nice 26' enclosed trailer, but please make arrangements before auctions end to make sure this is possible with him to your location and at a price that is acceptableto you from just outside the Toledo Ohio area.
