1992 Mazda MX-5 Miata Description

I am the second owner, having purchased it in July 1997 with 8,000 miles on the odometer. It has been very reliable, and I am only selling because I have replaced it with a new Miata. It can be used as is, or restored for future profit, as the yellow 1992 is one of the rarest of the early Miatas. It can be licensed as an antique or classic in many states.
Positives:
Very original.
No accidents. No snow, ice, or salt. No autocrossing, racing or track days. No pets. No smoking.
Original paint can be preserved.
Door, hood and trunk gaps are as original.
Front and rear bumpers are in good condition and not dried out. No license indentation in front.
Both window regulator mechanisms replaced once.
Top is serviceable and rear window relatively clear. Top down cover in great condition.
Whole interior in great condition with only a bit of wear on driver's seat. No tears.
Timing belt, other belts, and water hoses replaced at 105,000 miles in October 2010.
New battery in June 2017.
Air conditioning updated to R134a, but requires recharging about every two years.
Negatives:
Rust in both rear rocker panels and one rear quarter panel.
Scratch on drivers door and a few small dings.
Airbag warning light flashing; will require repair if you have state inspections.
Radio intermittent.
I am selling this vehicle in "as is" condition.
