A custom 1981 RX-7 that is 80 to 85 per cent restored is offered for sale along with additional equipment and parts. The high performance 13B engine built by Rotary Engineering with headers and Weber carburetors has 225 horsepower according to Rotary Engineering literature. But, I have never had it on a dynamometer. A new clutch and a new pressure plate were recently installed to correct some slippage in 5th gear. Tires are 205 50r15 on custom rims made by Auto Bahn. New rear gas shocks made by Gabriel were recently installed. More than a thousand dollars were paid for professional restoration of sheet metal imperfections as part of the restoration. Some interior parts such as the rear mirror view are missing. The undercarriage has some surface rust in places that should be easily removed. The car has a clear title. It is still a work in progress for a person with experience in restoration who wishes to make it perfect.
