I am selling my 1991 first generation Mazda Miata. This is a premium example of the classic Miata that started it all! It has a 1.6 liter 4-cyl engine, five-speed manual transmission, in classic red with a black convertible top. With 93,360 miles, this car has been extremely well cared for. It runs great and has been very well maintained. I have all maintenance records.
At 90,000 miles the valve cover gasket was replaced; cam position sensor was cleaned; brake, clutch, transmission and differential fluid were replaced. Oil and filter were changed; air filter was replaced; spark plugs replaced; radiator fluid flushed and replaced; alignment checked, tires balanced and front brake pads were replaced. All belts were replaced at 80,000 miles. It’s had regular preventative maintenance including Amsoil full-synthetic oil and filters, and there are no oil leaks. The battery is less than one year old. The tires are in great shape.
The rear plastic window was replaced in 2006 and is in excellent clear condition. The car was professionally repainted (same original factory color and clear coated) in 2012 due to gradual paint fading over the years. It has been consistently been garaged, has never been in a flood or had any hail damage/repair, and has had no body damage. The car has a clean title and a clean Carfax.
Features include; electric windows, cruise control, driver air bag, cassette player, new stereo door speakers, headrest speakers and temporary spare tire. The car is not equipped with air conditioning. Interior is all original black cloth and is good condition. Selling because I don't have room to keep it any longer.
