As is stated above, his is a NO RESERVE auction for a 1993 Mazda Miata. These are great little cars that have a great reputation. They are fun to drive, andle well, re reliable, heap to run and cheap to maintain. Not many cars will give you more smiles per mile than a Miata.

Spring is just around the corner, nd this little Miata will make a great cruiser for the summer! It is not perfect, ut it is in pretty good condition for the age. The 1.6L engine runs well, as plenty of power, nd does not smoke or have blow-by. The auto transmission shifts up and down through all of its gears normally without any problems. The suspension feels solid, nd the brakes are strong. The car is an absolute pleasure to drive. There are current PA emissions stickers on the windshield that run out in June. It could use a wheel alignment in the front, ut otherwise drives great.

The black interior is in pretty good shape for the age. There are no cracks on the dash or center console. The carpets look good. There is minimal fading and wear on the cloth seats and the factory floor mats. The driver’s seat has small tears on the lumbar support, hich is a common finding in these cars. The heater pumps out great heat. There is A/C but I cannot tell if it is blowing cold or not because of the cold weather we have had. All of the lights and gauges work. The electric mirrors work normally, indows are manual and work normally, nd there is a driver’s airbag. The horn and the cruise control are not currently working. The “airbag” light on the dash is flashing in intervals of 6, ut no other warning lights are on. The wipers work well. The convertible top looks like it has been replaced not too long ago and is in very good shape. The weather strips for the top need to be replaced because they do allow small leaks when it rains. This is a common occurrence, nd the weather strips can be bought from a number of online vendors. GoMiata has them on sale at the moment.

The exterior of the car is in decent shape for the age, hough the paint is not perfect. There is no rust. This Miata has had a cheaper re-spray of Mariner Blue at some point in the past. It does look like that was the original color, ince the inside of the trunk, ngine bay and doors is blue. More recently someone has made a few touch-ups with a blue spray paint that is not an exact match. There are a few spots of this here and there that were probably either scratches or rust repairs. The entire driver’s door and rear panel on the driver’s side have been re-sprayed like this. I checked it with a magnet and the magnet sticks everywhere but an area in front of the wheel arch (very common for rust) and an area below the door handle. I suspect that these were rust / rust hole repairs and the previous owner just got carried away with the spray can. There is a small scuff on the front spoiler. The factory “daisy” mags are in good shape, nd all 4 tires have good tread. Clear taillights have also been installed. Underneath the car appears solid.

This would make a great daily or summer driver for someone. It is absolutely wonderful to drive, nd will be so much more fun in a few weeks when you can put the top down. I would say that this Miata is in at least average condition for the age and mileage. It is not in showroom condition, t has some faults, ut it is still a nice car. Please read the description thoroughly, xamine all of the pictures and then come see / drive the car in person before you decide to bid. I welcome bidders to come check out this car, ust please give me at least 24 hours notice that you want to come so that I can adjust my busy schedule. I am selling this car on behalf of my father because he does not use the internet. This car is owned by his small, sed car dealership. Since this car is owned by a dealership, he buyer has the option of getting a 2-month temp tag, o that he or see can legally drive the car home. I am open to offers made through ebay in accordance with ebay rules, nd reserve the right to stop the auction if an offer is accepted, owever, o offers made on the final day or after the auction has been won will be accepted.

If the auction winner does not get a contact email from me within the first 12 hours after the auction, t is because I do not have reception, ut I will be in contact Sunday evening if that is the case.

A $200 deposit is due directly at the end of the auction. This can be paid through Paypal. The remainder is to be paid in cash at the time of pick-up. This deposit is non-refundable.

Since this car is being sold by a dealership, f on arrival for pick-up the buyer has a valid driver's license and proof of insurance, 2-month temp. tag can be supplied at an additional cost of $35.

Payment is to be made in CASH at pick-up. Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The car must be picked up within 10 days of the end of the auction.
