1985 Mercedes-Benz 380SE
1985 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Description
Partially restored 1985 Mercedes Benz 380SE. 3.8L Gasoline model, automatic transmission. Euro-style headlights. Original tools & owners manual.
(Almost) all electrical components/relays etc replaced (with OEM parts - Bremi, Bosch etc), including but not limited to:BatterySparks & LeadsFuel Pump & FilterAir filterFuel pump relaySeveral lights, all fuses and miscellaneous parts.
On my to-do list was:New Radio/Sound System (or replacement from salvaged vehicle - had been removed by previous owner)Fix ODO (displays 127k mi, but does not work)Replace some pneumatic tubesReplace some wiringRebuild engine (was planning to have this done by a professional, estimated cost $3,000)Cosmetics (re-upholster interior and repainting and/or refreshing clearcoat - is currently silver, but I planned to change to a dark-blue).
This vehicle once fully restored could not only be a looker but also worth a pretty penny! I will be sad to see her go.
Selling as I am moving out of state and I've run out of time to finish the project - she has been sitting for a while waiting for my attention so will need to be towed from lot (or you can have the shop she's at restore her).
Hagerty says average value is $6,300, Nadaguides says average value is $10,600, but considering she isn't yet fully restored and still needs work, I will consider all reasonable offers.
