1979 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series Description

Have had this 240D for about 5 years now and have really enjoyed it. But as a mechanic it is onto the next. This car is in good conditionand I have installed an extra gas tank in it giving it a 1,000 mile range per fill up. For the North East this car is in very good shape. Frame is rust free, but the door panels have some rust on the inside. I tried to put a clear picture of it online. They do not need to be changed now but one day you will want to address. It is a hard to find manual which helps tocompensate for the slow acceleration of the old MB Diesels. This is a strait hard to come by car that you will have a lot of fun with.
