One of a kind, pristine condition 1984 Mercedes Benz 500 SEL for sale with just over 23,000 miles. This one of the nicest W126 big body mercedes available for sale anywhere. The car looks like it just came out of a time capsule. All maintenance is up to date. The car was professionally inspected by the local specialty shop prior to being offered for sale and everything that needed attention was taken care of.
The car has excellent condition original paint, original jack and toolkit and even the original first aid kit!! All original rubber is in like new - supple and soft and not dry rotted at all. All trims and wood pieces are in excellent shape
The exterior has some minor imperfections as detailed in this ad. I have included the detailed pictures of everything so you can see for yourself.

History:
Purchased by my friends mother in law new from dealership in 1984. Always stored in climate controlled garaged since new. Despite being a Wisconsin car, it has never seen snow or salt. Only driven in dry clear weather. Was inherited by my friend in 2010 and was driven very little since then.
Maintenance:
All maintenance on this car is up to date. Fluids were changed in 2010. The car went through a full inspection one week ago and everyone in the specialty european car shop was impressed with it's condition. All fluids are in great condition. It doesn't need anything. The belts and all wear and tear items were inspected and tightened as needed.
The tires are 13 years old. The car was taken to a tire shop two weeks ago and they checked the tires. The tires don't have any cracking and look brand new (as the car has only been driven a few thousand miles in the last decade). The tires have developed a flat spot due to the car sitting in stationary position for long duration of time. Due to this flat spot, there is slight vibration when the car is driven over 70 mph.

Interior:
The interior is in perfect shape. It looks as if the car just came off the showroom and no one has ever sat in it. The upholstery is original leather and it doesn't have any marks/cracks on it. The carpeting looks brand new and it is completely spotless. There are custom 500 SEL floor mats in the car.
The car was never smoked in. All the cigarette lighters are clean and have never been used.
The interior wood is scratchless and looks new. The steering wheel feels great and new.
The first aid box behind the rear seat has the original first aid box that has never been used.
Exterior:
The exterior looks great and we get compliments everywhere we go. Everywhere from the ice cream shop to the gas station, people walk over to the car and have a conversation with us about how nice it is. It is a real attention getter. The color shines as if it was just built. The car was stored indoors in a heated garage so it doesn't have any UV damage from the sun.
The headlines are clear and look as new. The chrome on bumpers is perfect. All wheels are perfect and have no scratches on them.
Imperfections:
There are about five very small door dings on the rear passenger side door. You can only see them if you are about 3 feet away from the car. The rear bumper passenger side corner has a small scratch barely noticed and the rear passenger side door has a small ding/depression. There is no scratch on the paint. The only rust found on the body is a very small spot on the drive side front fender. These things are barely noticed and you probably won't even notice them if I wouldn't have told you. Take a look at the pictures. I tried my best to show them.
