1988 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series Description

I am selling my wife's 1989 Mercedes purely because she passed away and I own more vehicles than I should be allowed to, let alone ones that I have time to drive or need. This has been a stellar car to own and drive, very dependable and serviced regularly. This was used as her daily driver. If you want a dependable car that will provide a sporty, yet comfortable ride at an affordable price, this is it. The car belays its age. This would be an excellent safe first car for a teen driver, and yes, it has an airbag.
The negatives:
a) Due to the New Mexico Sun and heat, the clear coat has peeled/faded on the hood and trunk, there is a small crack in the dash as seen in the photos and the wood trim clear coat has lifted/is cracking on the center console, again, as seen in photos.b) there are some minor dings as noted in the photosc) I cannot be certain about the mileage, the odometer broke a couple of years ago, but again, she drove this car solely to run errands around town.
The positives:
a) Solid running engine, starts right away in all types of weatherb)Excellent interiorc) plenty of life left in the tiresd) it has a fairly new heavy duty battery
