1967 Mercedes-Benz S-Class 200- Series Description

I have for sale my 1967 Mercedes 250 S
I Have had the car for 3 years and this is an excellent 49 year old car. I have deep clean cleaned the interior, sealed the floor liner and put all new sound proofing material and all new carpeting.
The car has no cavities or holes due to rust, it is truly rust free.I bought it in Michigan from an older gentleman. The car has 4 new speakers, and a retrosound classic radio which is aux ready. The gauges have been cleaned and look amazing. The car is Dual carburetedand has been converted to webercarbs as opposed to the problematic original Zenith Carbs.
- I have put in all new carpeting over 400 dollars
- Refinished the wood trimming
- Flushed the radiator, changed the valve guide seals
- New battery, new motor mounts
- Very clean Ivory steering wheel no cracks
- New Moog sway bar links
- New Hood ornament
- New fuel sending unit
- New oil pan gasket
- Just changed the oil and filter
- Crank case seal drips a little oil but nothing major, does not require much oil too up.
- The car smokes a little on startup and from takeoff.
- This is a Handmadecar from Germany it'sjust one of a kind i get compliments everywhere i go!
- Car never sees snow or salt and is always garaged
- No rust, rust holes or any cavities.

Selling as I'm looking for a new project and thoroughly enjoyed my time with this Mercedes.
The car drives great, I Drove it to Michigan last year 5 hours away no problems. The AC does not work, possibly the condenser but as a weekend cruiser has not impacted by enjoyment of the car.Blower motor works, heater works great.
The paint is original and all body lines are very clean and sharp. The paint is peeling a tiny bit where the hood meets the fender but is not that visible.

Currently the car has original hubcaps and correct white wall tires. I have the original owners manual with service records, I also have all the receipts for repairs I have done.
It was awarded second place Best of Euro two years ago at 'OK Chicago'. A very fun classic car to drive.
