Very nice original Black PearlMetallic paint - code 199
Maintained per the book and it is up to date. All books included. Factory First Aid kit too.
New black top professionally installed in the past year ( top looks like it has never been down). Includes the factory hardtop - same color as the car.
Nice lower mileage 560 SL. Beautiful gray interior.
Garage kept and pampered. Runs and drives very good. Working heat and AC and the cruise works too. You will be hard pressed to find a 89 with as straight of a original bodyor as clean of a original interior. Gray seats are very nice.
The only paint work I am aware of was to fix the area that the hardtop rests on.Professional repair that I will include the receipts for.
This is a 28 year old vehicle that is showing recent price appreciation because of its heritage and the fact that it is the last of the series. You will find some minor paint chips on this car that are consistent of its age and mileage. Has a minor ripple in the top center of the rear bumper that is hard to photograph and a inch long crack on the passenger side windshield. Engine runs good and the transmission shifts correctly. We donotice a few drops of oil in the garage. I mean that only a few drops showing on the garage floor after years of storing it there.
The vehicle has a free and clear North Carolina title and the car is located in the garage of my friend who lives near me in Washington, NC and owns the car ( he has owned a number of Mercedes - even a 1956, but thinks this is one of the best!). He asked for my help to list and sell the car and decided it was time to sell as he wants to downsize. I will assist in coordinating the sale and can notarize the title.
If you win this auction we will require you to come pick up the car in person. We want the buyer to look over the car in person and be satisfied with it before you leave with the car. With that said let me know if you need any additional pictures or information on the car.
