1973 Mercedes 450SL
We are an estate sales company who sells various items. Sometimes we end up with larger items such as vehicles such as campers, boats, cars, and atvs.
This one happens to be a nice driving Mercedes. We drove the car about 50 miles, and it purrs very nicely down the road. It drives straight, you can let go of the wheel and it goes in a straight line. The brakes work flawless, and there is no pulsating or unpleasant sounds. The tires look as if they have just been put on. The car has no rust anywhere. It was never driven in the winter. The body is straight. The car has been repainted at some point. It looks very good, even up close. It would make someone a really nice driver. The seats are still supple, and the interior is in good shape for its age.
All the gauges worked, as did the stereo.
The following was found in need of work. The power antennae is stuck at half mast. The switch for the passenger side window needs to be replaced. (plug for it undamaged), Wiper fluid hose damaged.
I feel the car is a solid driver, however, I am not a mechanic, and I am not a car sales man. The owner has placed a lowstart pointon it, NO RESERVE!, and we have the clear title in hand ready for transfer.
Paypal for deposit, remaining funds by check (funds must clear), or cash in person.
I will try to answer any question you may have. Please be mindful that I am not a Mercedes expert. I do have a folder full of receipts for the car that go with it.
