1981 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Description

1981 Mercedes 300D for sale. Second owner car. For sale, nbsp;Super rare color combination - Orange exterior with burnt orange interiorI have owned this car for about 8 years. It was driven daily until about a year and a half ago. Car Runs good and has been started up and driven weekly since then. I'm selling because I don't have time or space to keep the car anymore. Before me the car was owned by a family in Texas and from what i understand the carstayed in the family and moved to LA. All records will be given to the new owner.
The Engine was rebuilt about a year and a half ago, ith about a couple hundred miles on the rebuilt engine. At that time the mechanic made a list of some minor repairs that he recommended are done to the car, hich will be supplied to the new owner.
Exterior - there is some oxidation to the paint. There are some dings throughout.
Interior - Driver seat has rips on the seat bottom. Seat springs were repaired about a year and half ago. I wanted to keep the original seat material so I did not have the material replaced.The plastic on the Passenger side foot area is missing - see photo.Door - Some of the doors are creaky when opening.Headliner - some staining to the headliner and some sun damage to the vinyl to the weatherstripping on the doors next to the windows ( see photo # 7)
Windshield - small pockmark/ding on windshield
Interior dash light - does not turn on
