1990 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Description

Here for Sale is my daily driver 1990 Mercedes-Benz 300TE with RARE factory fitted 4MATIC.True German engineering. W124's are the most overly engineered Mercedes of all time. I used to be a member of the Mercedes-Benz owners club in England formany years before moving to USA 2 years ago. (I still have a 1994 Mercedes Wagon with 320,000 miles at our house in London for whenever we pop back).This Mercedes has been looked after very well over the years and brand new cost $58,000 !!!Its original paint and looks lovely after a wax and wash. There are a couple of small light scratches in some places and the only slight paint damage is on the front near the headlight wipers (on the panel below). This never bothered me. It could easily be addressed and would be cheap to do, But as there was ZERO rust on the car i decided to keep it all original (classic German factory paint). Low mileage for year. Less than 8,000 miles a year since 1990. This is a super solid original survivor and rust free Colorado car.
The wheels (alloy rims) are all stock and have just had a set of 4 Bridgestone brand new tires fitted. Everything works on the car, Electric windows x4, Electric slide and tilt sunroof, Electric front Heated seats, Electric moving front seats, cruise control, the sun visors have factory fitted lights that come on when you lift the sin visors, the central locking works, the lights all work, the 4matic lights both light up upon initial switching on of the car and then go off (as they are supposed too), the empty fuel gage reader works, the dash board display Temperature gage works, and so does the factory fitted Mercedes Benz radio and cassette deck, the wipers all work and in the back are the two fold down rear seats main this a 7 seater. The spare Rim, took kit, first aid kit and triangle are all in the rear storage compartments. The previous owner told me the engine had a top end rebuild at SALIM's Mercedes Silver Star specialist garage in Colorado Springs as well as lots of other work by the long time owners. (i am trying to get a copy of this- i called and asked to pay for copies of the work and am waiting on a reply). Windows are tinted (it gets very bright here in Colorado). Comes with a red folder with clean title, Mercedes Operations manual, 4matic manual, Original radio manual and more.As mentioned its my daily driver. Super reliable and very comfortable. (I prefer it to our newer Mercedes ML)The only thing i have not done is pay to have the factory fitted AC converted to the new AC gas. I was quoted $225 at my local Mercedes specialist. Heat still blows hot as it should for the winter months.I am more that happy to take you on a long test drive to show the power and smooth gear change up and down and pure beauty of this classic.Any questions please ask away.
