1990 Mercedes-Benz 500-Series 560SEC Description
I have owned this car for about 4 years,i bought it from a lady in newport beach ca. it did not have any dents or door dings and was original paint but the clear coat was peeling so i had it re-painted the original smoke silver color, my son wanted the car so I had it tuned up,transmission serviced, new brakes, spark plugs, wires, some suspension parts, replaced or fixed every little thing so the kid would have a safe, reliable car to drive to school he has taken good care of it and always parked it far away in parking lots where nobody else parks to eliminate dings and scratches this is not my first sec i have had 2 1985's an 88 2 90's and a 91 they are incredibly well built and stylish cars that cost a ton of money when new, you could buy 3 corvettes in 1990 the price of this car and there is a reason it's because they are worth it.
let me tell you what does and does not work.the cruise control does not work properly, odometer, clock, some light bulbs on the dash, fuse # 15 tends to pop from time to time, it has an after market stereo (kids) the roll up center console compartment is all there but needs some attention, and the wood FINISH ( not the wood) is shot on the center shift plate, there are some tears in the front seats and a couple of stains on the carpet, but i have a 1990 same colors car in the back yard so i will throw in some extra parts, cruise control uni, original Becker radio, a handful of electrical breakers and other gizmo's,drivers seat belt & extender and for an extra cost i have a set of front seats that nicer than the ones in the car.
what works, all power seats and window functions, pop up sun roof all lights, wiper, all the buttons on the dash, speedo, tach, other gauges, outside air thermometer, the climate control, the air condition works but does not get very cold, this baby is mechanically tip top condition.

On Apr-04-16 at 20:18:25 PDT, seller added the following information:O.K.folks, I have been busy lately and I should probably put a little more effort into cleaning the car and using a better camera, the photos don't do the car justice. I did a quick job cleaning and taking photos so I will add some more photos . to finish the story my mother-in-law, the kids grandmother (r.i.p) bought him a newer Honda civic last February so the car has been sitting in the carport for 10 months, I have started it maybe 5 times and drove it twice until no, I have been driving the car every day since Saturda, because these cars need to be driven and do not like to sit.and let me tell you it is quiet power, I'm on the freeway wondering why everyone is driving so slow, until I look down at the speed o and I'm doing 90 mph. no hesitation, punch it and it goes. and remember I am going fill the trunk with extra parts.and I also have front door panels from the parts car, I will put them in also, along with lots of other goodies that will save you money in the long run.I sent an email to the guy who bought my 1988 to ask permission for contact i have not herd back from him (3 hours) and yes I did replace the timing chain and guides, please ask me question, don't be bashful.
