The completely rebuilt engine has only 17000 miles on it (since 2005).
Usually, in this price range, you will find rust-bucket cars with pending major mechanical issues. This car is a treasure, and somebody is going to end up with a classic motorcar for less money than a crapped out twelve year old Sebring wheezing its way to the scrap heap...
The previous owner spent more than $15,000 usd on this car (I have the receipts), rebuilding the engine 17,000 miles ago, rebuilding transmission, repainting the car, installing a new windshield, rebuilding the front end suspension and brakes (new front and rear including rotors), has new plugs, distributor cap, ignition rotor, new injector seals, hub seals, calipers, the throttle linkage was repaired and serviced when engine pulled, new front wheel bearings, AC charged, new battery, etc.
The previous owner was going to drive this car forever and into oblivion. Then the wife said downsize or else.
On top of all that, this is a Southern US car - meaning it is rust-free.

Fabulous car.
PO treated this car like a favourite child.
I bought it to drive as a daily car - I just have too many cars and not enough storage. I need to downsize.
Was a 1 family car - The PO (a preacher) only drove this car 250 miles last couple summers - never driven in rain or winter (always garaged)
I drove it back from Missouri and it performed flawlessly.
Engine was rebuilt by KRS Machining of Erie, PA - a fine company with an excellent reputation.

Very reluctant sale. My loss....
I need the garage space for another car from my "bucket list".
