1994 Mercedes-Benz S-Class swb Description

This is the Flagship S class of Mercedes..

Engine runs great, starts right up and is very strong, however, Electric fan works constantly, or if Idisconnect electric fan, engine gets very hot. I disconnect it so that I don't burn fan out, but I keep an eye on engine temperature. It overheated once, But I connected fan immediately and it cooled down and runs fine!.

I believeit needs a something that monitors coolant temp so that fan shuts on and of as it should. Also it may need a lower temperature threshold thermostat, BUT I AM NOT SURE...

Super plush ride, Super quite ride due to double glass pane(except of course, the dented left side(see picture) door windows. Massive power from large straight 6 engine, Ac works but needs Freon charge, But it does work(not like some ads that say needsFreon but ac doesn't really work.

That is why the price is so cheap for this S class, it need some repairs!

Herein is the absolute honest situation and condition of this car.

The Good: Large and luxurious S class. Runs great, Fast, super nice ride and superior handling. A/c works, Practically new Dunlop tires on rear, 4 Month old battery, Newly installed transmission appx 11-12 months ago. New water pump installed appx 8 months ago.

The Bad: power door locks not working,Auto door closing feature not working, Left side Damage,windows don't go down(Due to car being hit while parked, see pictures, also replaced drivers door handle so its different key to open drivers side.)Also driver side tail light lenz busted.Ck engine light on, Wipers work but wiper fluid doesn't squirt out. Rear tires slightly used, front tiresok but should change in a while.. Numerous dents and paint wear throughout car(see pictures) Seats in good cond except passenger front leather has tear on but part, but not really noticeable unless peeled back. Antifreeze periodic leak(not sure from where). Drivers side mirror damaged but works and mirror glass not broker or cracked. Front and rear windshield have cracks but not so much as to prevent visibility or have inspection problem(to this point)Rear defroster doesn't work due to cracks in windshield.

That being said, if someone has ability, time and money to repair.Someone would be gettinga Fantastic bargain of German engineering in this beauty!
