Purchased new in 1992 at Boulevard Motors Mercedes-Benz. It was ordered by a doctor in a small southern Missouri town to his exact specifications. Basically all available options were requested. He owned multiple Mercedes Benz in the following years including many AMG models. But he kept this until Mercedes-Benz produced a suitable replacement. That replacement became available this year as the all-new 2017 S550A cabriolet.

The doctor kept it in a climate controlled garage all the time. He documented all the services in the maintenance booklet including every time he hand washed the vehicle.
