Seven Hills Motorcars is very proud to offer this very low mileage 1989 Mercedes 560SL is absolutely spectacular condition. This is one of the nicest 560SL's available on the market right now and truly an investment grade car. The market on the 560SL is absolutely red hot right now with 1989 being the most rare and desirable model year and this example is priced to sell. Very low mileage and original examples of the R107 Mercedes SL exceptionally difficult to find and draw a huge premium in the current market. There is copy of the Carfax report on this car pictured below. It is totally clean, shows no accident history, and verifies the low mileage. The low original mileage is also verified not only by the condition of the car, but also by the clear Ohio title, pictured below, showing the mileage as "Actual."
This Mercedes is verified as "numbers matching" meaning both the engine and the transmission in the car are the correct and original units that were installed in the factory. It is especially rare, but this 560SL has the "vehicle data card" from the Mercedes factory, which is pictured below. It shows the original engine number to be "117967 12 044435." We have checked the engine and confirmed that same engine number stamped on the left side of the engine block. There is also a sticker on the main case of the transmission, pictured below, showing the correct corresponding VIN. All of the paint and trim codes are also correct and match the vehicle data card and the data tag by the radiator.
This 560SL looks outstanding, runs great, and is and awesome driver. I have personally put over 90 miles on this Mercedes over the past month and during that time is was completely reliable with absolutely no issues and a pleasure to drive. It comes with both the soft-top and auxiliary hardtop. This is an excellent opportunity to own a classic Mercedes that is ready to be used and enjoyed at an unbeatable value. One could easily buy this car now and sell it for more than the purchase price in years to come. The car come with service records and stamps in the maintenance book. Some of those maintenance stamps are pictured below included one showing the car has had the 30,000 mile service completed already. The previous owner also had another 7,500 mile service done at the Mercedes dealer with a receipt included with the car. Also included with the car are the original owners manual, books, tool roll, tools, both convertible top wrenches, original spare tire and rim, jack, and other documents that cam with the car new, which are all pictured below. This Mercedes is finished in the beautiful, desirable, and iconic color combination of Smoke Silver (702) over Brazil Brown Leather (273) interior with a Dark Brown (746) convertible soft-top. This is the correct and original color scheme as verified on the data tag and vehicle data card both pictured below. Please peruse all of the photos, video, and other information below to get a true sense of clean and nice this 560SL really is.
As a side note, this Mercedes is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our classics come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the 560SL, just give us a call.
