Having sold several of my Mercedes-Benz vehicles over the years through eBay I've learned a couple of things: quality vehicles sell quickly if presented accurately and priced fairly.

I believe this 1991 300E 4-door sedan to be just that - of high quality and priced fairly. You be the judge if I've presented it well and accurately.

This dependable Mercedes has been my daily driver for the past 4 years and has never let me down. In that time I've put about 30,000 miles on it and I can say every mile has been enjoyable.

The exterior color I an understated 'Smoke Silver Metallic' with a 2-tone mat finish below the belt line - all in all, quite pleasing to the eye.

From any angle these W124 (300E) series sedans have sophisticated and enduring lines that make them an upcoming classic in the Mercedes-Benz world.

A brief history of the Mercedes-Benz star logo - known throughout the world as a symbol of German engineering, durable luxury and lasting quality.

A look at the interior of this sedan will help show some of the care that has been showered on this vehicle from day one.

Leather wrapped steering wheel that is airbag equipped.

All gauges and warning lights on the instrument cluster are in good working order with the exception of the fuel gauge. This fuel gauge has been intermittent for a couple of years - it shown about ¼ tank even when full. My solution for this was to simply reset the trip odometer every full-up and the refill when it reached 350 miles or so. This gave me a 75+ mile reserve as an average full tank will take this Mercedes 425 miles or more.

Just 83,224 well cared for miles to date - (about 3,200 miles per year on average / 26 years).

A factory ad for this vehicle.

All the seats are in very nice condition with the exception of this stain on the driver's seat. The stain may well be removable as I have yet to try anything very aggressive to treat it.

The seating upholstery throughout is a 'Cream Beige - MB-Tex' material that is both beautiful and quite durable.

Real wood accents adorn the interior and are made of an exotic 'Zebrano' wood.

The climate control is automatic ... set and forget. Just dial in the temperature and it will regulate the heat/cold as necessary.

The A/C is in good working order and blows cold even on the hottest of days.

The entertainment system is the original MB factory installed unit with a dealer added 6-CD changer located in the trunk. The radio power has been intermittent and I suspect it's either a fuse or loose wire issue.

The back seat will comfortably seat 3 adults with the center armrest folded up.

The map pockets on the backs of the front seats are quite handy on extended trips.

A factory photo of the production line for these Mercedes-Benz W124 vehicles.

The hood can be raised to full height for service - mechanics just love this feature.

All neat and tidy and well serviced since day one.

The Mercedes options code located on the front brace near the radiator.

Each of these numeric codes can be looked up on the internet - search "Mercedes Option Codes."

Info badges located on the 'B' post just behind the driver's door.

VIN tag located on the 'B' post showing a build date of September 1990.

And, the VIN tag located on the left side of the windshield.

The trunk is quite spacious ...

Tons of room here for luggage, golf bags and the like.

CD changer located in the trunk comes with its original 6-CD cassette.

Tires mounted - Matched set of 4 - P195/65R15 (85%+ tread remaining)

The spare tire and jack are located in a well below the trunk.

Mercedes-Benz roadside assistance for the life of the car.

For peace of mind and quite handy should you ever need it.

I'll finish up my eBay listing for this 1991 Mercedes-Benz 300E 4-door sedan with a series of glamor shots showing different angles and details.

This photos shows that the painted surface of the side jack point cover needs touchup.

I hope you've enjoyed my presentation whether your in the market for a high quality Mercedes-Benz or not.
