1985 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 300 TDT Station Wagon Description

HELLO!

We are Mike & Jana. We are selling our beloved 1985 Mercedes 300TDT Diesel Wagon. She is extremely reliable and in excellent condition. We’ve owned several Mercedes w123 cars, many of which have lasted 500,000 miles. This is the nicest 123 wagon we’ve driven and we’d confidently drive her anywhere in the continent. We adore this car; we just do not spend enough time wth her.

THE​ ​HISTORY

We bought her near the Oregon Coast (with a clear title) in 2013 during a family vacation. We planned on shipping her home, but she was such a blast to drive, that we turned in the rental car and drove her all the way back to Florida. The previous owner found her in Santa Barbara, where she had been since new. She had one accident in 2009 (damage to the front left side) that was repaired by the Mercedes Benz of Santa Barbara. AutoCheck now shows a Salvaged Title History from California that was not reported when I purchased the car. But I have a clear Florida title.

Unlike most vintage Mercedes wagons (which are already hard to find) it includes the 3rd row seat, all 5 headrests, and the roof rack with all 3 crossbars and the original rubbers.

CONS

She is 32 years old and doesn’t drive like a modern car.

She shows some normal wear, but does drives as well as these cars drove when they were new.

The paint has some minor nicks and scratches.

The driver’s seat shows some wear and the pneumatic struts on the tailgate aren’t great on hot days.

PICKUP

She is sold without a warranty, as is, for pickup in Central Florida.

We encourage you to come inspect and drive the car.

We can meet at the Melbourne Florida Airport (or potentially Orlando) for a test-drive.

We may be able to deliver it in the Southeast US for expenses.

We can arrange shipping at the expense of her new owner.
