This classic car is likely better than you think. The w126 body style is arguably one of the best and over-engineered ever to be made by Mercedes. The interior is made with the highest quality leather money can buy and it shows. Inside, it is a model of comfort and good design. The front seats are comfortable in the extreme and are adjustable up, down, back, front, tilt - just about any way you want. The electric switches for accomplishing all this are replicas of the seats themselves (including headrests). Move any portion of a switch the way you want that portion of the seat to move and the seat moves. The center console swings up to expose a tray underneath large enough to accommodate a handbag. The back seats have more leg room and head room than you could ever need; a rarity these days! This car has been very, very well maintained by its original owner. Although the miles are high, that is no issue for this vehicle, it will easily double what it has on it now.

This vehicle has been very well taken care of and it definitely shows. This is one of the cleaner 420SEL's that I have seen. It is a 1 owner vehicle that has been garage kept and and very well maintained. All of the accessories work like they should and it runs & drives better then most newer cars. The engine runs smooth with plenty of power and the transmission shifts as smooth as butter. It handles and rides very well with no suspension noise or any play in the steering. The paint is in very good shape for the age and mileage with only a small clear coat faded spot on the hood but they rest of the body and paint is almost flawless and the car has never been painted and it is all original. The interior is in great shape as well other then the fact that the front two seats have some wear on them. The driver's side seat has wear on the bolster and the passenger seat is cracked but that is it. The rest of the interior is in amazing shape with no other tears or stains and everything has held together very well. It is missing the passenger side mirror cap and has a small crack in the windshield. The crack is not in the line of sight.

The Deposit:
Please be ready to place a $500 deposit within 24 hours of auction's close. All transactions must be completed within 7 days of the end of auction. If the car is not as represented upon your personal inspection at our dealership location, you will be under no obligation to purchase.

Tax, Title and License:

Local residents located in West Virginia are responsible for applicable sales tax of 6% as well as all of the required DMV fees. If you live outside of our state, you are responsible for applicable tax, title and licensing fees in your area. All winning bidders will have to pay a $125 fee no matter what to cover documents, eBay, and PayPal fees! A 60 Day Temporary Tag is available to anyone for a additional $25. All vehicles may NOT have a title available on the day of purchase or pickup but it will be mailed to you within 2 weeks due to the fact that some of our vehicles are on a floor plan financial service and they don’t release the titles until the vehicle is sold!

All of our vehicles come with a 30 Day or 500 Mile Warranty that covers the powertrain, engine, transmission and rear end (if applicable). The parts and labor cover is 50% on parts & labor meaning the dealer will pay 50% of the parts and labor for repairs unless otherwise stated in the listing or description.
