1994 Mercedes S500 Coupe Excellent Shape, No Reseve
1994 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Description
Here is one of the last of the great Mercedes coupes. The W140 is often known as the last Mercedes to be "over-engineered." The W140 is believed to have cost Mercedes over $1 billion to develop and for the consumer a 25% higher price than the outgoing 560SEC. Almost hand built down to the details, there is exquisite detailing in the wood and in the leather, which covers almost everything.
The car has almost every option imaginable, heated seats, sunroof, ABS brakes, and ASR traction control. This is a two owner car, and comes with extensive stack of service records since new.
The air conditioning system was completely inspected and serviced, including a new compressor, condenser, etc. The car runs and drives amazingly. These S500 coupes were the most expensive Mercedes available at the time, only 14,953 having been produced making them on of the rarest Mercedes of the 1990's. They were built to last, unfortunately the newer ones don't have the same durability.
All the windows work, the sunroof works, a/c works, the heated seats do not work. 20" Niche rims with tires at about 50%. I have included pictures with the stock rims which can be swapped if that is your preference. Beautiful running and driving machine. All panels straight and paint excellent.
Odometer stopped working approx 10k miles ago, so being sold as exempt. Occasionally check engine light will pop on as does the ASR. Restarting car clears the lights. I do not have a code check to determine the cause, but it does not impact how it drives. Needing a new truck, so my weekend car must go to replace it.
