Car was originally Red with Tan interior.Ran and drove perfectly before the car was disassembled for a complete ground up restoration.(Pictures of completed car are frombefore the restoration started)
The car was in the process of being restored by a world famous 190SL restoration shop. Over $47k has been spent in bodywork alone. The floors are all brand new sheet metal from the trunk to the firewall. Even the insides of the frames have been chemically treated to prevent any rust. Because the floors are brand new, they are in still in beautiful bare metal for your inspection, and to appreciate the amount of labor and craftsmanship that has gone into this car. There is no paint or undercoating hiding any possible blemishes.
The car is fresh off of the rotisserie, and is rolling on custom moving casters. All of the components for the car (engine, transmission, interior, dash, suspension) have all been removed for this ground up restoration and are included with the car. As are both the hard top and soft top frame.
The car could be reassembled as-is for a driver, but that would certainly not do it justice. The amount of skilled labor and precison craftsmanship that has been put into this restoration, has this car well on its way to being a concourse quality investment.

The car was deliberately not painted to give its future owner the freedom to choose the color and shade of their liking. Although the interior is in excellent shape (see photos from before car was disassembled), it may be reused or reupholstered to the color and material of your liking.
I hate to sell the car but I must due to health reasons. Everything is there, all this car needs is a new owner to give it the love it deserves. This car was well over 60% of its way to a 100% concourse restoration before I had to stop.
