1959 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series Description

This is a beautiful example of a head turning Mercedes Ponton.

This is a California rust free car.

Paint:

The car was painted from its original blue color to red 12 years ago by previous owner. The red paint is in good condition and has some touch up. I add the new black secondary color made to two tone color when I purchased last year.

Engine:

The previous owner had engine work completed valve job. The engine runs very strong and smooth and without any oil leak or smoke. In addition to the engine work, two carburetors were rebuilt when the engine work was completed. The car starts right away without delay. The transmission was rebuilt last year on 8/29/17 and the 4-speed shifts smoothly into all the gears without any issues.The clutch feels strong.

The breaks are good. The interior was down in 2013 new carpet front and rear seats and door panels.The woods are all intact and in good condition. I have over $21,000.00 in receipts for all the work completed. In addition, I have all the books and records. Please check the photos!
