Up for sale is this 2 owner 1982 Mercedes 380 sl. The car was very well taken care of and always garage kept. It's a Rut free example from top to bottom .The color combination is stunning and it comes with a matching hard top. The car has 110, 087 original miles and comes with 5 k of fresh service.
The Color of the car is Anthracite grey and it's in excellent condition. The paint is very glossy and show's very well. No dent's or scratches , no fading or clear issues. Overall the car show's very well. The bright work is also in excellent condition and not pitted or rusty. The undercarriage is very clean and also rust free.
The soft top is black and in excellent condition with a clear plastic window. Matching hard top is like new.
The grey leather interior is very nice and clean. The seats are in excellent conditio, the carpet is like ne, The dash is excellent and crack free. The wood is also excellent and very glossy . It has custom speakers built into the back shelf and it sounds great when driving with the top down. It has a Cd player as well.
Inside the car you will find everything to be working properly. The climate switches from heat to ice cold Ac. The am/fm Cd player works as does the power antenna. The lights all work as does the power window's and even the cruise.
Mechanically she is a Gem. I just serviced the car and here is what was done.I did a Compression check on all cylinders and they were all at 120 lbs which is very good. I installed New Valve cover gasket's and the car does have Dual chains and the rails all look to be new. Complete tune up with new plug, wires coil etc. I replaced all the Vacuum hoses in the engine and also the rubber boot under the fuel distributor .New Batter, The brakes are excellent and the tires are Michelin and also excellent. It has a new Complete exhaust as well. No leaks anywhere . When you turn the key she fires right up . when driving the car you can notice how solid it is and how great the power is from the V8 and how nicely the transmission shifts. The suspension is nice and tight and makes no noises. I would drive this car anywhere. It's ready to be enjoyed and has a lot of life still ahead as a ton of major service was just done.
