1989 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 560SL Description

Private party selling my 1989 Mercedes Benz 560SL in Pearl Black Metallic (Dark Charcoal) with a light gray interior and the original black soft top in near new condition. Always a SouthernCalifornia car! Paint is excellent and clear coat is present and glossy. Hard top comes with the car and is in very good condition as is headliner. The car is in really fabulous cosmetic condition with only one significant dent at the driver's fender outer rim (see photos). There is also a paint scrape about 1.5" at the drivers fender edge (see photo). Otherwise a few typical small scratches that are not very noticeable. The interior is almost like new. Dash is superb and only very slight wear on the outer bolsters of the driver's seat. The original stereo has been replaced and the new unit works well. Original head unit not available. Antenna raises and lowers as it should. All instrumentation works as it should. Car runs and drives well. Brand new Michelin Premiere tires ($600). All VIN tags are present. Mostly original paint. I believe the passenger door and fender have been repainted but at a very high level. AC is not cold. Center vents are not blowing air. Slight leak of oil at valve covers though does not drip onto ground. Engine is a bit dirty and the hood pad should be replaced. Will need a 60k service. Comes with original spare and wheel, 2 keys, a notebook of records, original first aid kit, wind screen and remote for stereo. No Manuals. Please ask any questions you may have.
