Just in time for the spring and summer cruising scene we are listing this 1975 Mercedes Benz 450 SL Beauty & the Beast!! With Beautiful new black paint 3 weeks old & a some beastly rust, in the rear floor pans, and in the trunk. See pictures... The previous owner put this car in the autobody repair shop a year ago to have some restoration work done. In That time the ownership of the shop changed & there was a discrepancy over the amount of money & work that the new owner wanted to charge Vs the amount of the agreed upon price and some of the monies paid to the original shop owner. So as a result of the settlement it was agreed that the exterior of the car would be nicely refinished. However the new shop owner wouldn't get into all of the more intense aspects of the resto job. So the car looks nice as pictured but has some rust issues in the trunk and rear floor pans. The floors in the front also pictured are pretty solid. The rest of the body is also solid no bondo bucket here if you look in the Quarter panels (pictured) you'll see that there's no bondo/body filler there. So depending on your desire you can drive this car as it is, or patch or repair/replace/restore it as you wish gradually. While you still enjoy driving it.

It's a 40 year old running driving well PROJECT!!!!

The engine & tranny run well strong & smooth. Although the engine could use a tune up it runs well both on local streets and the highways. You can fly in and drive it home wherever your home maybe!!! I believe it will make it!!!

You will enjoy this vehicle like each of the 3 owners before you.This is a smoke-free automobile.The owner kept this vehicle in the garage.The engine on this vehicle is running properly.This vehicle has a smooth shifting transmission.There are no signs of prior damage on this vehicle.There are no noticeable dings on the exterior of this vehicle.

The vehicle has some power equipment problems, the temperature control panel isn't responsive. the drivers window works fine the passenger side is tempermental at best.The exterior of this vehicle is extra clean.There is an average amount of wear on the interior for it to be a forty year old interior.There is approximately 80-90% of the tire tread remaining on the four matching UNIROYAL tires.

The speedometer works the odometer doesn't. The drivers seat belt buckle needs to be repaired or replaced. It's a solid running and driving looking good Project.
