Hey Everyone. I had this Wolf 250 GD for sale on Bring A Trailer a few months back. It didn't meet my reserve (was close but not quite close enough). I've got the Buy It Now Price at $22,500. If you want you can check out many more pics and detailed information at the Bring A Trailer Auction Site:https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1990-mercedes-benz-wolf-250gd-2/

I welcome test drives and inspections of the car by local mechanics. This a great truck at a very reasonable price. The 3.0 Engine adds significant power to the sluggish factory engine. Runs and Drives Great.
Below Is The Detailed Description Of The Car.
This1990 Mercedes-Benz Wolf 250GD was used by theGermanBundeswehrprior to being imported to the US by the previous owner. The selling dealer acquired the truck four months ago following installation of a 3.0L turbodiesel inline-five from a 300 SD sedan.A 5-speed manual transmission and dual-range transfer case are equipped, and other features include a canvas top, black steel wheels, a fifth spare wheel, green vinyl seats, and locking differentials.Rust repair and a repaint have been conducted under the seller’s ownership. This G-Wagen is offered by the selling dealer with a clean Georgia title.
The previous camouflage finish had faded according to the selling dealer, who had some rust repair conducted prior to a repaint in satin olive. A remaining area of rust on a fender corner is shown in the gallery below.
The roll-down canvas top is shown deployed in the photo above. Black 16″ steel wheels are mounted with older Continental all-terrain tires.
Green vinyl upholstery covers the front bucket seats and rear troopie benches. A map light is affixed to the dash, and simple instrumentation is further detailed in the gallery.Approximately 48k kilometers (~30k miles) are shown on the 5-digit odometer
The stock 2.5-liter diesel has been swapped with a 3.0L turbodiesel inline-five from a W126 300SD sedan, which is backed by a 5-speed manual gearbox and 2-speed transfer case sending power to all four wheels. The oil and coolant were changed at the time of the engine swap six months ago per the seller.
