Here we are selling our 1983 Mercedes 300CD turbodiesel coupe. This wonderful 36 year old classic Mercedes had only 2 loving owners before us and it has been pampered since new. It was originally sold in Phoenix/AZ and there is no rust on it at all .The original champagne color paint ( MB color code 473) still shines like the many pictures will show. This car has always been garaged and you will know, once you see the interior. It was finished with Palomino color leather seat, which was a rare option in 1983. The seats are still firm and the leather is in good condition as well. There are no rips or tears. Even the original dashboard is perfect and free of any kind of cracks. The carpets are clean and the wood panels are in wonderful condition. Please look at the many pictures i uploaded. They can describe this vintage Mercedes much better than i can.We do get compliments on this car every time we take it for a drive. It really stands out, but the best thing about it is the way it drives. This 300CD has always been properly maintained and it shows. It always starts up right away, has plenty of power and shifts smoothly through all the gears. It has recently been fully serviced.The new Michelin tires were installed 5k miles ago.All the windows and the power door locks are working properly. There are no issues with the vacuum system and even the climate controlled air conditioning is blowing ice cold. I would not hesitate to take this car on a cross country trip tomorrow.I would prefer to sell this gorgeous Mercedes locally to somebody who could actually come by and see it/ test drive it. But i am also willing to help with shipping arrangements or an airport pick up ( LAX ) for out of town winning bidders. Please have your funding in order and do all your "due diligence " BEFORE placing a bid. This is a rare classic 36 year old Mercedes and it will be sold without a warranty "as is" and "where is ".
