1973 Mercedes 280 W114 Diesel swap from 300D W123
Light Ivory exterior with Red interior. Has been my daily driver the the past year and has been incredibly reliable. Runs and drives smoothly. Has never had a problem starting. Shifts smoothly. Odometer reads ~72,000 but does not work. Trip does work. Motor is an inline 5 cylinder diesel from a 78 300D with ~85,000 miles. Averages 21-24 MPG. All lights are working. Clean interior. Drivers seat spring and cushioning are worn down as expected at this age, but seat surface has no rips. Paint has normal blemishes and chips from being 45 years old, but nothing major. Clean CA tile in my name. Tire tread is good. Steady running temperature of 200 degrees. A/C is not working and has not been looked into.
