1986 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Description

Hey there classic Mercedes sl collector, here is a great opportunity to buy a 560sl convertible that is basically very good but it has been sitting for year, we put gas in it and cleaned it u, and it starts right up! sounds pretty good and responsive, the trans shifts righ, the lights all bur, it has a perfect dark blue soft top, the power windows work, the steering is sloppy we think it is a steering u joint, the motor idles a little too high but it slows down after a minute or two, a/c is not working the heater blows out the dash to, the brakes are spongy but they work after I pump them once, the gauges work, the muffler is not factory. The windshield is cracked but it is the original with the daimler sticker and it does not appear to have ever been wrecke, the car is nicely repainted in its original white but it looks pretty good very presentabl, there is only some rust inside the hood down in front of the radiator not anywhere that you can see or causing any problems, the well is super clean where the convertible top rest, I do not have the tool to open the top, the car is worthy of a few repairs and will make the new owner very happ, what can you buy for under 10 grand in a high powered 560sl?
