1988 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Description

The car is Signal Red/Palomino leather. This is a 1 Owner car. Clean car fax. Garage kept. Original list price was $62,910. Plus dealer installed back seat with seat belts. I believe the cost was $3,000-$4,000. But that was 31 years ago. So not sure exact price. They are removable. Extremely rare option. Car also has heated seats $480. Heated seats were rare back then. Car is all original. There is a small rip in convertible top which I circled in blue. I did not repair it because I wanted to keep 100% original. I’m sure it can be sewed. Great car to add to your collection or as a daily driver. Everything works. I have all books and most service records. I have original window sticker. On the rare occasion when I drive her I always get compliments. Please no dealers contact me. I’m fine selling it on my own. Also this is not a must sell quick car so please low bidders don’t waste our time. Any questions please feel free to call me. Peter 908-385-7808 or email me.
Yes I see them listed for less money on here but those are multiple owner cars. Some have accidents etc. This is a 1 OWNER CAR NO ACCIDENTS. I personally like the 1988 and 1989 560SL'S because Mercedes got smart and placed the 3rd brake light where it should be. No clue why they put the 1986 and 1987 Brake light in the center of the trunk. These 560's are going up and up in price. I wish I had room to keep it.
