This is my grandfather’s classic 1987 Mercedes Benz 560SL Roadster Convertible

only 78,073 miles from new and Family owned that Runs and drives excellent. Very rare color combination black exterior with burgundy interior.

No oil or fluid leaks in this powerful V8 5.6 litter engine that is capable of reaching powerful speeds of up to 140mph. It’s satisfying power, aggressive good looks it’s All Original out of the factory its 227 hp.

I have the original books and tools set & all the maintenance records.

These cars are becoming ever more collectible. This is a fine example that has been cherished by my grandfather since new

maintained in top condition and is now ready for its next passionate owner. This carscould easily be considered one of the greatest engines of its time. It is powerful smooth and full of character while remaining massively reliable. canvas top which is in working order showing no fading of the fabric or yellowing of the window. the carpets are not faded, and the steering wheel feels substantial in your hands. The seats have that firm feeling that only Mercedes seats seem to deliver, and all the gauges are fully functional. In fact, everything works, Electrics all work as they should rare on other machines but not a surprise on this one.

It has automatic climate control, a power passenger side mirror, power windows, cruise control, and additions like airbags and ABS brakes. Even the original Becker Grand Prix AM/FM/cassette stereo is still in the center of the dash The fully lined trunk is fitted with plush Burgundy carpets And like all SLs, this car includes both a black canvas soft top and removable hard top.

The original paint is in good order showing a few minor surface flaws and a handful of very minor stone chips on the front end but otherwise it is very straight and attractive The chrome bumpers and exterior trim are excellent as are the original light and lenses. alloy wheels show no curb damage.
