1994 Mercedes S350 Turbo Diesel (I AM RE-LISTING THIS CAR BECAUSE THE PREVIOUS BUYER DID NOT LIKE IT AFTER ALL)
NOT a ROD BENDERThe 603.971 motor has been replaced with the 606.962 motor intercooler with mechanical injection pump from the OM603.971 motor;engine came from a1999 E300 turbo diesel Turbo Intercooler, low millage; 38,000 miles I was told by the bay seller who sold it to me.Turbo is pretty healthy, it boost 15 PSI on wide open throttle.
Interior is super clean and 9 out 10,AC has a leak; need recharge/ service. (It has a new condenser). All vents and fun are working correctly.
Has had two minor accidents IN ITS ENTIRE LIFE and it was total loss BY the insurance company but still has a California clean title (was total loss). The car has been repaired already (kept original front bumper) that was hit from the accident (might need replaced if you don't like it as it is).
Basically for this price you'll be buying the Motor and whole conversion components only, but you are taking the whole car, you can drive the car as it is or use the motor setup for a project, your choice.Has current California registration until August 2019 and California clear title (the car might be considered salvaged) if that is a problem to you, DO NOT BUY THIS CAR.
2 issues that need to be mention:
1. The rear crankshaft seal needs to be replace because it leaks oil (YOU CAN STILL DRIVE IT like I did for three year, but don't park it on your drive if you don't want to see oil on the driveway; you also need to add oil when the oil light lights up on the instrument cluster.
2. AC needs service.
The rest of the car is excellent (except for the paint and rear passenger window) does not go down. The transmission still working good on all forward gears, but would sealed a bit to engage on reverse. This is a non electric transmission, so you got to be easy on it.
NO smog check need it in California, emission exempted. Here is a video to check out. The rattle is gear on the video, it does not doit when is is running, it is like eco on the video.
Read carefully, if you but it, its yours.... If you are in Los Angeles, you are well come to come and inspect it before biding.
