1990 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Standard Description

A great drive-away 1990 500-sl with both tops in functional condition; decent upholstery (sm. rip in driver's seat). Engine runs strong, heater/defroster working; AC needing serviced, 4 tires w/only 700-miles; new spare; jack, lug-wrench. No leaks in strongest of rains! Power-windows function flawlessly. Roll-bar functions, convertible top will need all windows replaced to clear as has seen much storage time under boot, but auto-raises & lowers. Hard top has a few small sags in head-liner, butare not bothersome at all. Hood-release needs new cable for LHS, but functional... This is a car you can drive & enjoy while fixing itsminor age-wear related items. The body and black paint are basically in great condition all-over (some tiny paint chips). Never an accident... 3-owners;windshield & hard-top rear window perfect. As a bonus there is a life-time guaranteed $99 full silver car cover, rain, heat & dust-resistant barely used w/bag. And you get all the cassette-collection in the tunnel-holder that the first owner left aboard! Car isin Florida!

Selling because of family, and leased SUV... and maybe because my age exceeds the M-B by 60-years, though I'll miss sports-cars, having had dozens since the mid-'50s including M-B 190-SL, 280-SL, 460-SL
