Rust free low-mileage 1961 Mercedes-Benz 190D sedan(Diesel) – Museum Quality
Vehicle was completely restored between 2010 and 2017 and is turn-key with no current needs.
Interior: New seat covers, door panels, head liner, parcel shelf, carpet, dash pad. The Bakelite trim very nice Restored as the steering wheel.
All gauges work. Windows roll down and up without problems. Doors open and close as expected for a vehicle that was hand-built.
Exterior: Professional 2-stage paint (base coat / clear coat) on a rust-free southern body in the original DB blue with all glass
removed (also see under-body pictures). Glass has no damage and is original to the car. All new window seals.
Chrome is very nice but not perfect. All lights work, LED Headlight is currently attached to the car, but original headlights are included in sale.
Mechanicals: Matching numbers 1.9 liter Diesel engine with the original 4-speed manual transmission. No leaks.
New brake lines, clutch, wheel bearings, motor mounts, tires and exhaust system. The fuel injection pump was rebuilt.
Currently showing 31,792 miles on working odometer.
