1974 Mercedes-Benz 450 SL convertible/hardtop in excellent condition

1974 Mercedes-Benz 400-Series Description

For sale is a well taken care of 1974 450SL convertible. The soft top is brand new, and the hardtop is in great shape. This car is powered by the 4.5L v-8 that runs out strong and started right up. The wheels and tires are slightly larger than factory, I believe that they were factory on the 80 thru 84 models, ( I have a set of the original magnesium wheels that came factory and will include them in the sale of the car. In the interior, the seats, carpet, door skins, and trunk lid leather is brand new. Everything works with the exception of the guage illumination lights in the instrument cluster. The gauges all work, but won’t light up went it’s dark. The air conditioner compressor engages, but does not blow cold (assuming it needs Freon). The car was bought and spent the majority of its life Utah and Oregon. I have a large stack of the maintenance records from the previous owners.
