1973 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class -- Description

Attention Collectors, here and in Original Germany: DON'T MISS THIS ONE OF A KIND 450SL..Here is my 73 cute, adorable green,on green SL. It is a very nice surviving style vehicle that is almost completely original. It does have the original color. The colors were never changed to another color,or changed back.It was born silver green sage metallic, and it is still this rare and cute color (DB-861) color code .There is no rust,no rust i, on or under floors. The small flashlight looking pull out(do the glove box flashlights really work?) is still in the glove box.Mercedes tools and jack also here.,and she still has the original 2 piece trunk mats in the boot. They are formed rubber, and original, and old.The inside is the properly original seats, door panels(nice and non wrinkled, and carpets(loop, original, nice). The interior is very fantastic, seats are firm in the cushions..All the exterior chrome and aluminum is just that,...original,and still nice condition. The finish was touched up in some area, over the year, .It is professional, and not any visible color differences on it...There is no bodywork or dents or damages on the original body. All numbers are there! The canvas is looking brand new,and black with twill headliner. The car runs and drives well, with no smoking and no,none overheating at anytime.A/C was fixed this afternoon(july 20),as it is 107 degrees F outside here today.,Inside the car got to 80 degrees,,and it was a 20 minute drive around town, with windows shut, top was up. The transmission operates well in all forward 3 speed, and in reverse. We are told that the 107 series 1972/1973,is the next wave to go the way as the 1971 280SL's.Retaining it's true European styling with the small, slim bumpers and factory over-riders.It also has the Jello-Molded 14" wheel, as the factory sold them,in silver argent color..The doorjambs and under the hood is all original paint everywhere,so one can see the car has never been messed with,or color changed.Original green cars, with green inside are, they have to be difficult to find.Seems like years ago,lot of people changed their green cars to red,or black and changed ithe insides to tan or black. So,this one is lea, and green.you have got to love green. If you do,then send us a bid.,why wait???We will assist worldwide for anyone who likes it.more pics available..Please ask ?'s.Overseas buyers are welcomed to make offers.
