1967 Mercedes Benz 250SL Pagoda Restomod One Of a Kind MUST SEE 230SL 280SL LOOK
1967 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 250sl Description
1967 Mercedes Benz 250SL Restomod. This is a Pagoda that you could drive everyday cruising at 85mph at only 2k rpm with out the expense of a traditional Pagoda upkeep. This car was built to be driven and will keep up with a modern SL (she'll do well over 120 mph if you ever feel the need) !! This car was rebuilt / restored over 5 years from the ground up in the mid 90s using all New Mercedes Benz Parts that were available at that time (chrome, lights, weather stripping etc) And designed to handle the increased horsepower of the Ford V8 crate engine 300hp plus. By looking at the car from the outside and inside you can not tell that the has been modified under the hood. Except for the subtle upgrades like a factory Mercedes 160mph speedo instead of the 140mph and a updated center console for the new Mercedes Benz shifter. The amount of thought that went into this car is amazing. Under the hood you would think the car left the factory this way, there is not one thing out of place! Every factory gauge, light, wipers even the heat levers all work exactly how they should! Inside and out the car is beautiful, the interior is all restored and near perfect. Original Nardi Steering Wheel this list goes on and on. They are currently producing retromod pagodas in Germany with a few more features but same concept less horsepower and selling them for over $200k!!! If you had to build this car today with the fabrication work it would cost you well over $100,000. The cheapest used retromod pagoda for sale right now is almost twice the price of this one! This is a beautiful car and of course being 52 years old it has flaws but over all a beautiful driver! Please call 347-770-5731 with ALL questions before bidding! The car is from CT so is sold with a bill of sale and the pervious CT title so is good to export. Also don't wait to bid this car is for sale locally and is 1 of 1 you wont find another one like it so dont wait to bid! Due to the cars age its being sold as-is.
