1988 Mercedes-Benz 500-Series Description

Up for sale is this AMAZING 1988 Mercedes 560sec. This car only has 117,000 miles and it is a Florida car, NO Body RUST! It starts right up with a touch of the key and drives down the road, and shifts through all the gears. The car has been off the road since 2014 and I have literally NO HISTORY on the vehicle. The person I bought it from took it in on trade from someone who also knew nothing about it. The tires are good, but starting to get some cracking. The interior is very nice and everything works but the A/C, (belt is off). You have to help the passenger front window up. Aftermarket Stereo turns on but has no sound, I think the aftermarket amp is bad. It also has a 12 disk CD changer. The clear coat is pretty bad, but is not peeling. It might be able to be brought back but the car has many little chips and scratches in the paint all over the place. There is one bubble starting on the passenger side door. The paint looks to be MOSTLY original. The odometer quit when I reset the trip mileage. It wants to cut out here and there while driving down the road. I feel it must be a sensor or something. I just found out a few days ago that there is some water getting in the oil on the right side of the engine. It must need a head gasket. I changed the oil right away to save it but water is still going in. Again, it starts right up and sounds good, but I haven't run it for more than a minute or two since I found out about the head gasket. There is one small hole in the trunk where it looks like it was pierced by something from the outside. I will also have the vehicle for sale locally so it could sell at any time. Many pics available and a short video.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P96BSUtvXK0 Thanks for looking! Joe
