2 owners when I bought it several years ago. Last registered 2005. No back fees due as after 10 years of no registration, CA DMV drops cars from the system. Title remains clean. Elderly owner could no longer drive it, but wouldn't part with it until he parted with this world. Paint better than pictures! Brought it out of storage and prior to starting it changes fluids and fuel pumps, cleaned tank and replaced filters. Passed CA smog at that time. Ran it for a couple hundred miles and changed oil and transmission fluid again to be sure. Just had paint detailed for $250. BEAUTIFUL!! For the short time I have been forced to park outside, I bought a triple layer weather proof fitted cover. Transmission pan gasket replaced. Flaws: gas gauge, clock, AC needs recharge. ding on left front hood corner, with cracked headlight bezel. Comes with replacement bezel. Paint not damaged. PDR? . Needs rear swaybar links. ($112) Suspension good, front and rear: was checked by a Mercedes mechanic. After market wheels show minor corrosion in places. Front tires are very old, but will come with almost new front Michelens which match the rears which are in excellent shape. I put it back into dry storage after getting it running, taking it out every couple months for a drive to keep things lubricated. Every car has a story: Trying to convince the family he could still drive, the owner bought a backup camera to show he would be safe to back up. He lost the argument, but it is in the trunk new in the box. It's huge!! but goes with as part of the unique history. Recently lost my free storage so selling it. Have given an honest assessment not hiding any minor things i found. Clean car fax, clean title. Will smog for CA buyers.
