For sale is a very low mileage, ORIGINAL 1975 Mercedes Benz 280 S. This car has had two owners in the past, both of them were locals here in MONTEREY CA. It comes with the original owner manuals, jack/tool kit, and even the original DATA plate is given by the dealers for the first owner which were used to make it easier for them to service their vehicles. The car has very mileage! Has roughly 94, xxx original mileages. It was never driven much other than around the peninsula. Technically; in generally very good condition. All electrics; windows, seats, features, and functions, in working condition for the most part. No "unknown" major defects, but with possible weaknesses as you should expect with any +/-40-year-old classic. It's very original and has minimal rust. The engine is believed to be matching numbers and there is no sign of a repaint from the best of my knowledge. The interior was never redone and looks very good! The leather is in good shape! Eventually, it will need new paint or at least a touch up as its starting to show its wear. The car is being sold cheap! It's the last year of no smog cars and would be very easy to get on the road. It starts right up but I would have a mechanic check out everything before taking it on any long drives. it sat for some time so I am sure it can use some new oil, gas, etc. The baby blue exterior with a blue interior is a beautiful option.
