1993 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Description

If you are looking at this then there should not be any introduction necessary and you probably already know the whole back story behind these very special cars.
this one is a 1993 in dark gray with black interior.
the car has 214k miles which seems high but these things are built like tanks. car has sat for the past year or so and it will need tires and a tune up. also the srs light is on which seems to be common with any benz of this vintage.
motor sounds great with no ticks or knocks. like i said, i'd go through it and give it some love but it does run and drive as it sits. the transmission shifts just fine but also in typical benz fashion it does take a second or two to engage reverse.
the black interior is in great shape. the alcantara headliner look beautiful. the a/c blows cold. the recaros are soooo comfy. there are a couple of cracks in the wood trim on the console just from age but nothing really to be concerned about
brakes work as they should.
car has a little bit of rash on the very bottom in front of the rear wheel wells from all the highway miles. it was owned by a doctor in new mexico for many years and it was his daily commuter.
the paint looks pretty decent. the hood and roof could use a buff. other than a couple minor door dings the body is very straight and clean.
and just look at those flares !!!!! such a sexy car
the headlights were replaced for those horrible chinese hid's which i would replace if i were keeping this car.
prices on these cars have really gone up lately as people are realizing these are very special cars and not just some old used benz
