My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very clean 1991 Mercedes-Benz 300E with just 154k original miles. I would rate the exterior of this 300E to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. It is finished in Silver and Gray exterior with matching Gray leather interior, which is a good look for these cars. The silver finish shines nicely and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be very hard pressed to find much worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this old Benz. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors, and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this 300E came in. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Mercedes. I would also rate the interior of this Mercedes 300E to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets show a few marks from age but are not excessively worn. A full set of factory Mercedes floor mats is included. Both front seats are power operated. The leather seats show very well for their age and are still supple. The wood veneers show a little age, but are all intact and presentable. The power windows, seats, and suroof all work properly. The toggle switch to the power mirror is broken off, which is common at this age. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well but the air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air anymore. The audio system is original and will need the code to be unlocked. I had to replace the battery in this 300E, which put the audio system into safe mode. The Mercedes dealer should be able to give you this code still. The interior is very spacious and accommodating. The cargo area is spacious and clean, and appears to even come with a car cover. The original owner's manuals are also included. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this old Merc. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this 300E came in. Mechanically, this 300E appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.6L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. Her road manners are good, too. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. The inline six feels smooth and makes plenty of power. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. If you're looking for a classic Benz, you'll know these cars are getting very hard to find in this condition and without a quarter million miles.
