1967 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 300 SEL 6.3 liter Description

Up for auction is a rare 1967 Mercedes Benz 300 SEL 6.3 litre Barn find. I am helping sell this for a friend who purchased it to restore and has not found the time to achieve this therefore he is ready to sell. He took the car to German auto repair in Fresno CA a few months ago to see if the engine was ok and they managed to get it running off a separate fuel supply and it ran well. Since then the car has sat in his driveway.The car is carrying a personalized California blue plate, so it has been registered in California since the 1970s or early 1980s and was last registered in 1985. It does have some rust which seems to be mainly in the door bottoms. The car needs a total restoration but seems mostly original in condition.
