1978 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Description

Hello, we are selling our 1978 Mercedes-Benz 450SL. It's all original white exterior with a blue interior, 4.5 liter V8, and automatic transmission. It has 121,667 original miles with a clean title. It also comes with it's hard top, all the manufacturers tools, and all manuals. We are an SL family and we have owned many SL's R107 and R129 and this is a good vehicle. I am confident in it so much I would drive it to California and back! It runs well, drives well and shifts well. It also looks pretty good for it's age; although it could use some restoration. It has been garaged. There is no rust although there are a couple places (documented in the pictures) that surface rust is developing. It was only driven on nice days with the top off or the hard top on, in result of this it could use a new soft top. The interior is in really good condition apart from 2 cracks (pictured) in the dash under the dash pad.
