1980 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 300CD Description

1980 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 300CD. Condition is "Used". This Benz belongs to a friend's father who is an occasional collector of vintage cars. He bought this Benz because it was relatively rust free and he has always been a fan of the looks of these coupes. But with multiple cars and limited time he has decided to sell.
We do not know the history of the car but from the condition it looks to have been well cared for and garaged. The paint looks to be all original. I do not think it has ever been hit, and does not look like it has ever been rusty. The photos are an accurate presentation of the car's condition. The interior is nice though the wood on the dash should be redone.
All the lights work, as do the wipers, horn, windows, rear defrost, stereo and power locks. The sunroof does not seem to work though I was told it works with a little help. The rear passenger interior light works but not the front (probably the bulb). The HVAC system does not seem to work though I was getting hot air from the vents when I turned the dial to warm. All the gauges work, though the odometer does not. The car does not drive like it has extremely high miles, and the driver's seat is still is firm, so I doubt the miles are much more than indicated.
The car starts quickly and pulls well through all the gears. The suspension feels good and the car is stable on the highway and around town. I could not find any issues on my hour long drive. The car was given a $4k service recently, which can be viewed in the photos.
