1988 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Description

Up for sale is my 1988 Mercedes 560 SL convertible.
This has been in my family since 1989 when my dad bought it with 6,000 miles. It has remained in our family ever since and is a two owner car, but almost a 1 owner car. It spent most of it's life in the midwest, but was always garage kept and only used in summer. The last few years it was a daily driver in Orlando, FL. The car was driven from Chicago to Orlando and back with ZERO issue. Car is dependable for a road trip. It has Euro headlights too.
Car now has 105,000 miles on original drive train. It received a tune up Jan of this year. Tires were replaced new one year ago with plenty of life left. A/C works great, power windows are fine, wood is all there and not warped. Starts up and drives every time.

Reason for sale is due the to the sudden death of my father from cancer. This was his car and having it around is a reminder that he is dead. I need to gone asap. I'm also selling it locally and have the right to stop this auction at anytime.
